Meter Type
Electromagnetic Flowmeter (Magmeter) has no moving parts, is non-intrusive, and is a highly accurate.

How It Works
The meter works with any media that is electrically conductive (has conductive ions in it). The meter creates a magnetic field and as a conductive fluid passes through the field, the field changes inducing a voltage. As the velocity changes, the voltage changes. The voltage change is picked up by two electrodes that are amplified, conditioned, and sent to a processor to relay the signal to the display or output signal producing a rate and volumetric measurement of flow.
